Eggcellent Easter Weekend activities in the Cape

Our Labotessa Hotel is looking forward to welcoming our guests over the Easter long weekend. 🐣  Shop Easter goodies and gifts at Babylonstoren in Franschhoek or online, including hand-crafted chocolate eggs, speckled egg biscuits, baked Hot Cross Bun loaves, praline-filled eggs, and more. 

🐣 Enjoy an Easter Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner at Cape Town’s many fine restaurants. Book via Dineplan. 

🐣 Enjoy wine tasting at Wildeberg Wines Damhuis Tasting Room in Franschhoek, located at the doorstep of the Olifants Hoek Trail Route, once the path of elephants roaming the Franschhoek mountains. 

🐣 Book a Boschendal Winemaker’s 3-course dinner paired with the estate’s wines on Thursday 6 April. R690. 

🐣 Ride an Elektrek scooter on the Sea Point Promenade. Daily. R200 (one hour), R300 (two hours).

🐣 Order a picnic pack from our Labotessa Hotel and enjoy a picnic in the Green Point Urban Park. Free entry. Open daily.  

🐣 Do an Easter Lindt chocolate bunny and wine pairing at Vrede & Lust in Franschhoek, tasting its bubbly, Pinot Noir, and Boet Erasmus blend. 8 – 10 April. R150. 

🐣 Enjoy an Easter Sunday Buffet Lunch with an ocean view at the Twelve Apostles Hotel in Camps Bay. R895 per person. 

🐣 Easter is not the same without the traditional Handel’s Messiah performance. Performed by the Philharmonia Choir of Cape Town and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. Cape Town City Hall.  Good Friday 7 April and Easter Sunday 9 April.
