Cape Town is known for its magnificent sunsets almost all year round. While many watch and photograph them from the Atlantic Seaboard, there are a number of spectacular sunset sights as well as Full Moon hiking paths from which one can delight in them too. Our Labotessa hosts will provide guests with directions and even a snack pack for the hike :
#. Kloof Corner, off Tafelberg Road.
#. Lion’s Head, popular for full Moon hikes in particular, creating a moving light chain for locals to see
#. Klein Leeukoppie, located between Hout Bay, Sandy Bay and Llandudno, off Mount Rhodes Drive in Hout Bay.
#. Rhebokskloof full moon hike, an organised hike for up to 50 persons, with a view over Pearl Valley and the Du Toitskloof Mountains.
#. Meerendal Full Moon Hike in Durbanville, in the summer months.
#. Muratie Sunset hikes in Stellenbosch, offering views of Table Mountain and the Winelands. R100 per adult and R50 per child.
#. Signal Hill offers one of the best sunset views, and only requires walking from one’s car to the paragliding departure covering, a perfect picnic spot.
