Where to swim in Cape Town

Visitors to Cape Town who love to swim have a number of options of where to swim in Cape Town.

We have written about Tidal Pools in Cape Town on our Labotessa Blog, which makes swimming in ocean water safe.

Most Virgin Atlantic gyms in Cape Town (including V&A Waterfront, Foreshore, Century City, Claremont, Kenilworth, Green Point, Wembley Square, and Constantia) have a swimming pool.

The Sea Point Pavilion is an Olympic-size salt water pool, with an added springboard diving pool, and two children’s splash pools. Lifeguards are on duty at the pool. Change rooms are available. The main pool is 50 meters long, 28 meters wide, and 1,5 meters deep. Entrance costs R32 for adults and is free for pensioners.

Our Labotessa hosts can direct its guests to these swimming options.
